Nurses.ai is a professional social networking app built exclusively for nursing professionals. It includes a community feed where you can share posts and connect with fellow nurses, an AI-powered nursing assistant for clinical questions and NCLEX prep, a marketplace for buying and selling nursing gear and textbooks, direct messaging for private conversations, and professional networking tools. It's designed to be the go-to platform for nurses to learn, connect, and grow in their careers.

Nurses.ai is designed for all nursing professionals including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), nursing students, travel nurses, nurse educators, nurse managers, and all nursing specialties. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Yes! Nurses.ai is free to download and use. Free users get full access to the community feed, direct messaging, marketplace, networking features, and 5 lifetime AI messages. For unlimited AI access, an ad-free experience, and priority support, you can upgrade to Nurses.ai Pro (Monthly at $9.99/month or Weekly at $3.99/week).

Ask AI is an intelligent nursing assistant powered by advanced AI technology. It can help with clinical questions, medication information, nursing procedures, pathophysiology, care planning, nursing diagnoses, NCLEX preparation, lab value interpretation, and professional development guidance. It's trained to respond only to nursing-related topics and will politely decline non-nursing questions. Important: The AI is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for clinical judgment or direct patient care.

Free users receive 5 lifetime AI messages. These do not reset daily or monthly — once you've used all 5, you'll need to upgrade to Nurses.ai Pro for unlimited access. We designed it this way to give you a chance to experience the AI assistant before committing to a subscription.

Our AI assistant is designed to provide evidence-based nursing information, but it has important limitations. It may occasionally provide inaccurate or outdated information. You should always verify AI responses against trusted clinical resources and your facility's policies before applying them in practice. The AI includes safety disclaimers and always recommends consulting with qualified healthcare professionals for direct patient care decisions. Never use the AI for emergency situations — call 911 instead.

Nurses.ai Pro is available in two plans:

Both plans include unlimited AI messages, ad-free browsing, and priority support. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be canceled anytime through your Apple ID settings.

To cancel your Nurses.ai Pro subscription:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select Nurses.ai Pro
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you'll revert to the free plan.

Since subscriptions are processed through Apple, refund requests must be made through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly to request a refund. We cannot process refunds directly but are happy to help you troubleshoot any issues with the app.

Yes. We take data security and HIPAA compliance very seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. We do NOT store AI conversation data permanently. Our AI is programmed to detect and reject any Protected Health Information (PHI). We never sell your personal data to third parties. Authentication is handled through Firebase with secure token management.

Important: While our platform has safeguards, YOU are ultimately responsible for never sharing patient-identifying information on this or any platform. Violations of HIPAA can result in significant civil and criminal penalties.

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a federal law enacted in 1996 that protects patient health information (PHI). As a nursing professional, you are legally required to protect patient privacy at all times — including on social media and networking apps like Nurses.ai.

HIPAA violations can result in serious consequences including fines ranging from $100 to $50,000 per violation (up to $1.5 million per year), criminal penalties up to $250,000 and 10 years imprisonment for willful violations, loss of nursing license, termination from employment, and civil lawsuits.

Bottom line: Never share patient names, photos, medical records, or any identifying details on any platform.

To block a user: Visit their profile or find their post in your feed, tap the "..." (three dots) menu button, and select "Block User." Confirm your choice in the popup.

When you block someone:
- Their posts are hidden from your feed
- They cannot send you messages
- You automatically unfollow them
- Your content is hidden from their view
- They are NOT notified

You can unblock users at any time from their profile. To report a concern, email us at support@ainurse.io with details.

To request account deletion, please email support@ainurse.io from the email address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

We will process your request and remove all personal data within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please cancel any active subscriptions through your Apple ID settings before requesting deletion. De-identified and aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

The Marketplace allows nurses to buy and sell nursing-related items like scrubs, textbooks, medical equipment, study materials, and more.

To sell: Create a listing with photos, title, description, price, and condition. Your listing will be visible to the Nurses.ai community.

To buy: Browse listings, tap on items you're interested in, and message the seller directly through the app to arrange the transaction.

Important: Nurses.ai facilitates connections between buyers and sellers but does not process payments or guarantee transactions. All transactions are between users. Never list prohibited items such as prescription medications or controlled substances.
